I wanted to get a Class A CDL because driving a school bus with about 3 months off a year just wasn’t cutting it. As a person who absolutely loves road trips, this seems like the perfect job for me.

At C1 Truck Driver Training, I received instruction from some pretty knowledgeable people. They answered my questions and are a dedicated bunch. When I struggled or stressed, they were encouraging and supportive. I worked hard, and listened to what they had to say, which carried me through.

It was a great experience, and I am just about to head to Arkansas for orientation with PAM Transport. Thanks guys. You’re the best!

Hey Jeanne –

Thanks for sharing your story with us!  You touch on some pretty good points here, and I think it’s important that people know that there are true options out there if you look hard enough for them.  You talk of loving road trips, and how this seems a perfect fit.  That’s just one example of finding something you love and looking for a career to match that, vice going into a career and forcing yourself to like it.  That just sets you up for success.

Thanks for the kind words about the “knowledgeable people” here at school.  The staff here in Springfield is very informed in what they teach, but even more importantly, they truly care about everyone that comes through here.  You talk about struggling and stressing, and how the staff encouraged and supported you through that.  I remember very clearly the day you graduated, because I asked you to go speak with my week one class.  You were a very hard worker with a very good attitude, and I felt that you talking to your underclassmen could encourage them as they were struggling with their jitters.  I’m very thankful that you did that for me.

We’re all very proud of you Jeanne, and know that you will do well out there.  Stay safe, and keep in touch!
