Indianapolis Truck Driving School Grad Story – Adam Gallagher
Title: State Test
Graduation Date: 7/5/2012
I was in my third week at the motel on July 4. All I could think about was wanting to pass the road test for the school and taking my state test. All week I had seen people taking the test and I felt I was ready.
The next morning, Brad took me out for a drive and when we got back, I felt confident and asked him when I could take the road test. Next thing I know, he says “wait here.” He came back with a test paper and said let’s go. We got back and he said “you passed, now go pass the state test and get that CDL!”
It was 10:45 a.m. I asked Walter when I could test and was surprised when he said 12:00. All I could think about was how bad I wanted to pass. Next thing I know it was 11:50 and I was nervous as all get out. Then, when I went inside and waited to be tested, I was still pretty rattled, but when they came out and he said “let’s start with a pre-trip,” everything changed. I was ready for anything and everything that the test had in store for me, thanks to all my instructors at C1 and all the hard work I had just put into my studies.
I don’t know who was more excited, me or Brad. That just shows how much the instructors care. If you are willing to learn, they will help you just like they helped me. C1 cares.
This is another success story from one of our students here at C1 Indianapolis.
More often than not, students who stay focused and want to excel in truck driving school are successful. But it always comes down to the old cliche that you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make them drink.
This student was excited and hungry to receive training to obtain his CDL. He took what we offered and now there is another safe driver on the road. He now will be beginning his new career and supporting his family in the manner he was looking for when he signed up for C1.
